I WOULD NOT recommend this mouse for that reason. I got so frustrated I plugged in my old gigabyte mouse which I was replacing due to it double clicking the main button after 5 years, but that's better than not having screen location accuracy, especially in FPS games. Sometimes it would stop completely when moving to the left. For example when you move the mouse side to side continuously it would stop registering the left direction accurately but the right direction would stay consistent and you would end up to the far right of the screen even after you started in the middle. Overall Review: You buy a mouse because you want it to function as a mouse and do everything its supposed to do, right? This mouse does everything right EXCEPT movement accuracy.
